About the War and Peace Ball
The War and Peace Ball, which annually hosts 400 guests from all around the world, is inspired by the masterpiece of Leo Tolstoy, in which the charming Prince Andrei invites Natasha Rostova to dance at her first ball.
Founded in 1988 in London under the chairmanship of Count Andrei D. Tolstoy-Miloslavsky, the War and Peace Ball is considered as one of London's most prestigious high-society events. Now, for the first time since the imperial reign of the Romanovs, the ball will be held in Russia! Guests, attired in 1812 or white tie, will find themselves in splendid atmosphere and relive excitement and beauty of a Russian ball during the times of the Napoleonic wars.
